The Empire Breckenridge See-Through 36" Vent-Free Firebox delivers the beauty of a live flame in two rooms at once — while maintaining 99.9% heating efficiency. Built for design flexibility and maximum visibility, this multi-sided firebox is the perfect solution for open-concept living areas or shared spaces.

What Makes Vent-Free Systems Stand Out?

Vent-Free systems use room air for combustion and require no venting, making them cost-effective and simple to install. With an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) built in, safety is never compromised. If oxygen levels drop to unsafe levels, the system shuts off automatically.

Vent-Free units are rated up to 40,000 BTU and must be used as supplemental heating alongside a central HVAC system. Many models can still operate during power outages, making them a reliable backup heat source.
